Android Malware 警告
本站先前報導的 Android 木馬事件升級了，擴展到 Android Market 中的50 餘款程序。
這些通過 Android.Pjapps 植入惡意程序的包含 「rageagainstthecage」 root 溢出程序，可以獲得對用戶手機的完全控制，實現 SMS 發送/接收/屏蔽、下載更多惡意程序、發送 IMEI 到黑客站點等危害性極大的行為。
這些惡意程序的明顯特點是在安裝的時候會要求明顯超出其功能需求的權限。
已獲知的在 Android Market 上被感染的程序包括：

- 安裝軟件的時候一定要留心所請求的權限。
- 注意標題或者簡介中包含 Sexy 的軟件。
- 注意中文命名的軟件。
- 注意極其類似某個流行收費軟件的免費軟件。

AMD OpenVideo Decode API
AMD 公開了適用於閉源 Linux Catalyst 驅動的 OpenVideo Decode 高清硬件解碼 API。
不像 NVIDIA 對於 VDPAU 的推廣，AMD 在 Linux 平台下的高清硬件解碼方案 XvBA 需要來自第三方的閉源組件支持才可實現。這樣子不僅增加了最終用戶的使用難度，並且也影響了在各大開源播放器中的接受程度。
最近 AMD 對外公開了稱為 OpenVideo Decode (OVD) 的高清解碼 API文檔，理論上講，社區播放器的開發者可以依據該 API 在 Linux 平台上調用 UVD 引擎實現硬件解碼。
初步搜索顯示，已經有 ffmpeg 的開發者根據該文檔著手進行研究。
